Packing a parcel so it survives the trip

Aramex collects from your pickup address. You never open an Aramex account — every Trollu shipment goes on one Trollu account, so there is nothing for you to set up with them.

Packing

Box or padded envelope, nothing loose inside. Anything that can move will move. Glass and ceramics need something soft on all six sides, not just underneath.

Labelling

Print the label Trollu gives you and tape it flat on the largest face, over the whole label, with no tape across the barcode. A creased barcode is a parcel that gets scanned by hand or not at all.

The pickup instructions

There is a field for this in your pickup address. Use it for the thing a driver could not guess: which door, which floor, the shop next door to ask for, the hours you are actually there. It reaches the driver who comes to you.

When you are not there

Say so in the instructions rather than hoping. A failed pickup is another day.
