Amazon Echo Spot Enjoy all the functionality of Amazon Alexa with a 2.5″ screen with the black Amazon Echo Spot. It is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity to browse online content, control your compatible smart home devices, and connect with other local Alexa-equipped devices. Integrated Bluetooth allows streaming from your mobile device or to an external Bluetooth speaker. Its 1/8″ audio output will allow you to connect external wired speakers so you can wirelessly stream to them through the Echo Spot from your smart device. Note: Wi-Fi connectivity does not support connecting to ad-hoc (or peer-to-peer) Wi-Fi networks. Bluetooth speakers requiring PIN codes are not supported. Certain Alexa- and location-based features will have limited functionality outside the US. Support for certain services may change or be removed at any time; please see the manufacturer’s website for more information. Made to Work in Nearly Any Room Its compact 4.1 x 3.8 x 3.6″ design helps make the Echo Spot a convenient addition to nearly any room in the house. The screen’s viewing angle makes it well suited for use on a nightstand or desk as a smart alarm clock that can also turn your lights on and off, show your commute time, get the weather, or show your calendar. You can also use the Spot in the kitchen to set and see timers, call friends and family, see shopping and to-do lists, and more. The Echo Spot can connect directly to speakers using an 1/8″ stereo cable or Bluetooth to add voice control to your home stereo system in the living room or den. Plus, with multi-room music, you can play your favorites throughout your home across multiple Echo devices (Bluetooth not supported for multi-room music). Info at a Glance For news and information you can see and hear, just ask Alexa for your video flash briefing from CNN, Bloomberg, and more.
